The Twin Cities R.O.C.K. story
R.O.C.K. (Raising Our Celiac Kids) Twin Cities is a volunteer organization that provides support for families whose children have celiac disease. Our goal is to increase awareness of the disease through our website, events and education programs. The local chapter started in 1998 with just a handful of families, and now has grown to over 2000 contacts in our Facebook community. We come together regularly to share information about gluten-free products, food discoveries, diagnosis, and other joys and frustrations that come along with being the parent of a celiac child.
Twin Cities R.O.C.K. is a 501c3 not for profit organization officially registered as Raising Our Celiac Kids-Twin Cities Chapter, Inc. We are under direction of a board of directors. Current members are Greg Abel, Lynda Benkofske, Missy Chicre, Alissa Pier, Amber Gehring, Tom Grotting, Stacey Sorenson, and Cassie Weness
